This little angel with an arm missing (intentional) and one black eye (unintentional) was in Nunhead Cemetery over in SE15, probably one of the most peaceful places in the borough. I am tempted to add some watercolour to it... will post if I do!
You just started and I love your blog already. Beautiful drawings and a good sense of humor. And...you live in my favorite city in the world! Ah, to be able to visit the museums over there any time you want, I am so jealous! Stayed in London for four weeks the last time I was there in 2009 (I started loving the city after an internship I did there in 1994). Have not been able to visit since, but hopefully this fall. Keep posting and drawing!
Welcome to EDM! =) I really like your sketches. EDM should literally mean draw everyday but sometimes(or in my case a lot of time) it's hard to do so with busy schedules and all. But I guess we all try our best not to forget to appreciate things around us.
I can see that I am going to enjoy your blog! Great sketches and great humour - looking forward to future posts...
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you're enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch, I miss UK graveyards, had forgotten how interesting they are

ReplyDeleteI love this drawing. I would prefer you not color it. It stands on its own.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing. I like the clean line and the contrast that you get with the black and white.
